The Salisbury Sales and Marketing Executives Association will sponsor the 2017 Best Marketing Idea Competition at 5:30 p.m. March 22 at Salisbury Country Club.
Entries are open to any business or organization based in Salisbury and Rowan County. Sales and Marketing Executive Association members are excluded.
The long-standing competition rewards the best marketing idea based on uniqueness, creativity and effectiveness. All entries must be two to three minutes. Entries will be reviewed and reduced to a field of six finalists, who will present their ideas at the dinner meeting on March 22.
If selected, the entry fee will be $30, which includes a reception and dinner. Business owners and marketing professionals are also invited to attend.
Members of the Sales and Marketing Executives Association will vote to determine the 2017 winner, who will be presented with a $100 cash prize and membership in the association for the remainder of 2017.
To enter this year’s competition, write a description of your idea, how it was implemented and the benefits received and send it by Friday to joan@hankpalmer.com.
