Rowan weather: More clouds today, rain tomorrow

Another cold morning, with temperatures in the upper 20s, is an indication that we’re in for a couple of cooler days.

Today clouds will increase, leading to a high of 60, with mostly calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph this afternoon.

A 40 percent chance of rain moves in tonight, mainly after 2 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 44. Little rain is expected.

Rain is likely Wednesday, with an 80 percent chance of precipitation. Most of it will fall before noon. With a high of 53, we’ll have north northwest winds at 5-10 mph, with gusts up to 18 mph. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.

Wednesday night will be clear and cold again, with a low of 29 and northwest wind at 5-7 mph.

Thursday will be sunny with a high of 50. West northwest winds will blow at 5-11 mph and gusts as high as 21 mph. Thursday night will be partly cloudy and continued cold, with a low of 31.

Friday will be sunny and 60; a mostly clear night will lead to a low of 37.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 64, with a partly cloudy night and a low of 43.

Sunday will be gorgeous — mostly sunny and 68. The low will be 44.

And Monday, President’s Day, will be sunny and 70.
