In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A man reported items stolen from a vehicle parked on Water Street on Monday.
  • Residents of the 500 block of South Shaver Street reported shots fired from a vehicle Monday. Witnesses reported seeing a white Volvo and a Pontiac passenger car. Spent casings were found in the area.
  • James Leroy Jiles, 61, was charged Monday with misdemeanor child abuse.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A man reported fraud by false pretense Friday.
  • Eller Truck and Trailer Repair of the 1000 lock of Peeler Road reported a forgery Friday.
  • A man reported fraud by impersonation Friday.
  • A man reported items stolen from a motor vehicle Friday in the 100 block of Shadow Creek Trail, China Grove.
  • A man reported a burglary Friday in the 14700 block of Old Beatty Ford Road, Gold Hill.
  • A man reported a cellphone stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2700 block of Chalice Court on Friday.
  • A man reported items stolen Friday in the 15100 block of Stokes Ferry Road, Gold Hill.
  • A breaking and entering was reported Friday in the 1100 block of Gaddy Mobile Home Drive, Kannapolis.
  • A woman reported fraud in the 100 block of Dogwood Drive, China Grove, on Friday.
  • Pearls Pawn and Gun in the 1500 block of North Main Street, China Grove, reported fraud by obtaining property by false pretense Friday.
  • A man reported a fraud Saturday in the 100 block of Rock Olive Drive, Rockwell.
  • A man reported a burglary Saturday in the 100 bock of Blevins Lane.
  • A woman reported Sunday that items were stolen from her car in the 100 block of Shadow Creek Trail.
  • A woman reported items stolen from a vehicle Sunday in the 7300 block of Old Concord Road.
  • A man reported items stolen from a vehicle Sunday in the 100 block of Tennis Court Drive.
  • Vicky Michelle Click, 47, was charged Friday with violating a domestic violence protective order.
  • Tyler Duran Brown, 33, was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance Schedule 4.
  • Austin Blake Jenkins, 16, was charged Friday with breaking and entering vehicles.
  • Bobby Joey Lawing, 26, was charged Friday with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Jessica Nicole Blackwelder, 32, was charged Saturday with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer.
  • Amy Sloop Morris, 56, was charged Saturday with larceny.
  • Shaquille Deandre Ijames, 22, was charged Saturday with being a fugitive from justice.
  • Bobby Preston Johnson, 26, was charged Saturday with frivolous prosecution.
  • Samantha Marie Ewart, 19, was charged Sunday with possession of a controlled substance Schedule 4.
  • Justin Matthew Jones, 23, was charged Sunday with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Amy Teresa Locklear, 30, was charged Sunday with breaking and entering a vehicle.
  • Conner Shane Stillson, 20, was charged Sunday with possessing stolen goods.
  • Zachary Shane Rogers, 18, was charged Sunday with possessing stolen goods.
  • Tiffany Dawn Fleeman, 36, was charged Sunday with resisting, delaying or obstructing a public officer.
