Mr. and Mrs. Stephen E. Davis of Salisbury are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melody Lorraine Davis of Atlanta, Ga. to Juan Carlos Flores of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Caracas, Venezuela.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Lorraine Kluttz Lentz and the late James U. Lentz of Granite Quarry and the late Mr. and Mrs. Stamey E. Davis of Lexington. A 1999 graduate of Salisbury High School, Melody graduated from the College of Charleston in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She received her Masters in Business Administration from Charleston Southern University. She is currently a District Sales Manager for Meritor, Inc.

The future groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustavo Flores of Woodstock, Ga., formerly of Caracas, Venezuela. He is the grandson of Pedro Diaz and the late Maria Diaz of Merida, Venezuela and Cecilia Flores and the late Arnoldo Flores of Maracaibo, Venezuela. A 2001 graduate of Lassiter High School, Juan graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Kennesaw State University and he is an Analyst for AllConnect, Inc.

A May 6, 2017 wedding is planned at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Ga.
