School buses will be back on the road today as Rowan-Salisbury Schools resume classes on a two-hour delay. Buses were idled Monday and Tuesday because of hazardous road conditions.
Tuesday’s high of 45 helped to melt some of the snow and ice that descended on the region over the weekend. The return of sunshine Tuesday helped thaw things out.
Today, the high will be around 50 or 51 degrees, with a 30 percent chance of rain. The low today will be 45, the same as Tuesday’s high.
