Two sought in Old Concord Road home invasion

SALISBURY — Rowan County Sheriff’s authorities are looking for two men whom they consider armed and dangerous for their involvement in a Sunday afternoon home invasion at Old Concord Road.

Investigators say a 23-year-old man was shot in the upper left leg during the incident at 5595 Old Concord Road. People at the home described to deputies a home-invasion-style robbery, a statement said.

Witnesses identified two people during the investigation. Officials have sought arrest warrants for Dustin Reid Hinson, 26, of China Grove and Douglas Martin Patrick, 19, of Granite Quarry. Both men are being sought on charges of felony robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
