Wayne Hinshaw, retired Salisbury Post photographer who now freelances for the newspaper, captured these images of the snow.
The light and shadows made interesting images of ordinary things, transformed by the coating of snow.
The pretty landscape will likely be gone soon as temperatures rise throughout the week.
