Rowan weather: We might see snow Friday

We should see a little sun today, but with the sun comes northwest winds at 5-11 mph, gusting as high as 18 mph. The high will be 57.

Tonight will have a cold low of 30 with northwest winds calming.

Thursday will be partly sunny, but 10 degrees cooler, with a high of 47. Wind will be from the south southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. A mostly cloudy night will have a low of 33.

Then, try not to panic, but the word SNOW is in the forecast. Friday will be mostly cloudy and 42, and we have a 30 percent chance of early evening rain and snow, starting after 5 p.m. North wind will be at 5-8 mph. Friday night has a 40 percent chance of snow, with a cold low of 26.

Saturday would be a good day to stay at home with a blanket and some hot chocolate. We have a 40 percent chance of snow before 4 p.m., skies will be mostly cloudy, and the high will be in the low 30s, ranging from 30 to 33 degrees.

And then the real cold hits Saturday night, with a low of 16.

Sunday will be sunny, but still cold, with a high of 34. And Sunday night will be even colder, with a frigid low of 14.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 36 and a low of 20.

Tuesday will warm into the mid-40s, with mostly sunny skies.
