Local Bridge with Myrnie McLaughlin

Our Dec. 16 Evergreen game was well attended. We had oodles of food to enjoy as everyone brought their favorite holiday goody to eat.  Our women are great cooks and bakers!  Thank you all and Merry Christmas.

We had 8 ½  tables in attendance.  Winning: N/S 1st Betty Bills and Beth Shafer, 2nd Pat Featherston and Dick Brisbin, 3rd Pat Macon and Toni Iossi, 4th Carol Bachl and Judy Gealy;

E/W winners 1st Simon Brigman and Brenda Pace, 2nd Fern Albracht and Christy Cline, 3rd Lawana Ford and Patsy Reynolds, 4th Everett Halsall and Robert Tirsch.

Betty Bills and Beth Shafer had the best N/S score bidding and making 3NTN ,while Jean and Loyd Hill had the best E/W score defeating opponent’s 3DS 2 tricks.

The Dec. 20 Women’s Club game was disappointingly small with 2 ½  tables. Winners: 1st Becky Creekmore and Dick Brisbin, tied for 2nd -3rd Shirley and Ron Jeffers, with Georgia Sorensen and John McLaughlin.

PLEASE NOTE:  There will be no game at the Women’s Club Dec. 27.  The next game will be Friday Dec. 30 at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center.
