Thursday will be a little warmer, with a high of 58 under mostly sunny skies. Winds from the west will blow around 6 mph in the afternoon. Another mostly clear night will allow temperatures to drop to 28 degrees.

Friday will be mostly sunny and 50, with a light northwest wind, so your last-minute shopping will be OK. The low Friday will be 35 and we’ll have a 30 percent chance of rain.

Saturday, Christmas Eve, will have a 40 percent chance of rain and be mostly cloudy with a high of 50. If you’ll be out for a candlelight service, the low will be 38.

Christmas day dawns partly sunny with a high of 56, and the low will be just 43.

Monday will be mostly cloudy, with a high of 59. The low will be 48.

Another 30 percent chance of rain moves in Tuesday, but with partly sunny skies and a high near 64.
