Rowan weather: Enjoy today; cold, wet days ahead

We started off foggy, but will eventually become partly sunny today, with a high of 51. North wind will blow at 5-10 mph, becoming lighter in the afternoon.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low of 30. Winds shift to the northwest after midnight, around 5-7 mph.

Thursday will be sunny, but colder, with a high of just 40 degrees. Northwest wind at 10-13 mph, with gusts up to 20 mph, will make it feel even colder.

Then we’ll have a frigid low of 16 Thursday night, so round up the pets, bring out the blankets and make sure your family and friends have a way to stay warm. North northwest wind will calm after midnight.
