Registration deadline for Chamber PIP breakfast is today at 5 p.m.

SALISBURY – The Rev. Richard Joyner will be the inspiration speaker for this month’s Power in Partnership breakfast Thursday.
The deadline for this Rowan County Chamber of Commerce breakfast is 5 p.m. today.
The breakfast will be at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Oaks, 728 Klumac Road. The cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. The price includes the cost of breakfast and the program.

Joyner has been recognized for helping the Conetoe community and the region with health and socioeconomic issues, including being recognized as a top 10 CNN National Hero.
Joyner is the senior pastor of Conetoe Missionary Baptist Church and started Conetoe Family Life Center after he noticed all of the health issues facing the church and community. He has dedicated his life to tackling those issues and has built strong partnerships with local agencies and entities, including public, private and nonprofit organizations, universities and hospital systems.
More than 150 people on average attend the PIP breakfast series each month during its last three seasons. This year’s series will continue to bring top-notch speakers to the community and provide high-level networking opportunities.

- Feb. 16 – Arts speaker
- March 16 – Agribusiness
- April 20 – Health care
- May 18 – Leadership Rowan graduation
If you are interested in obtaining a half-season Power Card, also make your reservation by today. The Power Card is the Rowan Chamber’s frequent attender program. You receive a discounted price for the series and do not have to make a reservation each month. The cost is $75 for members and $150 for non-members.
