Rowan weather: Sunny, much cooler

Wow, what a difference. After last night’s stormy weather today is sunny and will be much cooler, around 60 degrees. We’ll have west winds at 3-6 mph.

Tonight will be mostly clear and cold, with a low of 32. Northwest wind will blow around 5 mph, then calm this evening.

Friday will be sunny again and cooler, with a high of 56. Calm wind will become west at 5-8 mph in the morning. Another mostly clear night will have a low of 31, with light west northwest wind.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 55, with north northwest wind around 6 mph in the morning. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 37.

Rain is likely Sunday, but mainly after 4 p.m. It will be cloudy, with a high of only 47 degrees. The chance of rain is 60 percent. With the same chance of rain Sunday night, the low will be 36.

Monday has a 40 percent chance of rain, but will be partly sunny, with a high of 55. The chance goes up to 50 percent Monday night, with another chilly low of 37.

Tuesday also has a 50 percent chance of showers, with partly sunny skies and a high of 52. For Tuesday night it will be mostly cloudy with a 40 percent chance of showers and a low of 38.

Even Wednesday has a chance of rain, just 30 percent, and will be partly sunny with a high of 57.
