We’ll have a mostly cloudy and cool day today, with a high of 58. South wind will blow around 3-8 mph.
The good news is that we’re going to have a few days when rain is possible, something we desperately need. Weekend fires have been a reminder of how dry conditions are.
Tonight we have a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1 a.m. It will be cloudy, with a low of just 52 and south wind at 8-14 mph. A tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible.
Tuesday, rain is likely before 8 a.m., then showers between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. The chance of rain is 70 percent. It will be cloudy and warmer, with a high of 68 and south wind at 13-16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Tuesday night has a 40 percent chance of showers and will be cloudy with another warm low of 58. South wind will blow around 9 mph.
Showers are likely Wednesday after 10 a.m., with an 80 percent chance of rain. The high will be a very warm 72 degrees, with south wind at 10-18 mph and gusts as high as 28 mph. Thunderstorms may develop.
For Wednesday night, a 90 percent chance of showers and rain, with showers before midnight and rain after 1 a.m. The low will be 49.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high of 61. The low will be 35, quite a change.
Friday will be sunny and 55, with a low right at freezing, 32 degrees.
