Piedmont Choral Society Concerts

The Piedmont Choral Society will partner with the Pfeiffer University Choir for their annual free Christmas concerts.  Joseph Judge of Albemarle, Associate Professor of Music at Pfeiffer University, will direct the groups.  The choirs will be accompanied by Dr. Don Simmons, along with a 25 piece professional orchestra.  Vocal selections will include favorite carols and lighter, fun pieces, along with the Mannheim Steamroller arrangement of “Silent Night” by the orchestra – great way to get yourself in the Christmas spirit and support your local arts groups.

Concerts are Friday, December 2 at 7 pm and Sunday, December 4 at 3 pm at Forest Hill UMC, 265 Union Street North, Concord.  On Saturday, December 3 at 6 pm the groups will perform at Prospect Baptist Church, 502 Prospect Church Road, Albemarle.
