Reservation deadline for Chamber breakfast is Tuesday

SALISBURY — Steve Chandler will present the long-awaited Rowan Brand Story at the Rowan Chamber of Commerce’s Power in Partnership breakfast 7:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Oaks at 728 Klumac Road.
The deadline for reservations is 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The Salisbury-Rowan Convention & Visitors Bureau is sponsoring the event.
Chandler is the owner and brand strategist of ChandlerThinks, the firm working with the Salisbury-Rowan Convention & Visitors Bureau on the new Rowan County brand campaign. Chandler has over two decades of experience in strategic planning and brand development for local, regional and national brands connected to the hospitality industry.
ChandlerThinks is based in the Nashville, Tenn. area.
The dates for the rest of the Power in Partnership 2016-17 series are:
- Dec. 15: The Rev. Richard Joyner, inspirational speaker
- Jan. 19: Economic outlook
- Feb. 16: Arts speaker
- March 16: Agri-business
- April 20: Health care
- May 18: Leadership Rowan graduation
The chamber’s breakfast series averaged more than 150 attendees each month during its last three seasons. The 2016-17 series will bring speakers to the community and provide networking opportunities.
To obtain a Power Card for the breakfasts, make your reservation by Tuesday. The Rowan Chamber’s frequent attender program, the Power Card gives holders a discounted price for the series and automatic reservations each month. The cost is $74 for members and $175 for non-members.
Individual reservations to Thursday’s breakfast are still being taken, with a deadline at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members, which includes the cost of breakfast and the program.
