Rowan weather: Frosty mornings have arrived

We were under a frost warning this morning until 8 a.m., though not everywhere was hit.

It’s about 34 degrees at 7:30, with the sun already up, thanks to the time change.

Today will be sunny with a high of 68. Calm wind will become northeast at 5-7 mph later on.

Expect patchy frost early tomorrow, as well, after 4 a.m. Overnight, it will be clear and cold, with a low of 35.

Frost will linger until about 9 Tuesday morning, then it will be another sunny, warm day, with a high of 68 and light wind. The low Tuesday moderates to 46 degrees, with west southwest wind at 5 mph after midnight.

We have a 20 percent chance of showers Wednesday after 3 p.m. It will be mostly sunny and 64 with building winds, north northwest at 12-17 mph, gusting as high as 29 mph. Hold on to your hat.

The low Wednesday will be 42, with partly cloudy skies.

Thursday will be sunny and 65, with a clear night and a low of 42.

Friday, Veterans Day, will be sunny and 68. A partly cloudy night will lead to a low of 41.

Saturday cools down quite a bit, with sunny skies and a high of 58. Look out for more frost or even a freeze, as Saturday’s low will be 33.

Sunday will be sunny and 58 again.
