30 employers will be at job fair Tuesday

SALISBURY — People looking for jobs can meet 30 prospective employers Tuesday at Salisbury Civic Center, 315 Martin Luther King Ave.
A community job fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., put together by the Centralina Workforce Development Board, the NCWorks Career Center-Rowan, the City of Salisbury, Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, Rowan-Salisbury Schools and others.
The event kicks off with an employer panel discussion that will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
The event is open to the entire community. Organizers encourage candidates of all ages, experience levels and industries to attend and dress to impress. Individuals with a certificate for attending last week’s employment information sessions will receive early admission to the fair beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Individuals who need transportation to the Civic Center can get a free ride from Salisbury Transit.
