Police: Man wanted since 2012 on breaking and entering charges arrested
SALISBURY — A Statesville man wanted on four-year-old breaking and entering charges was recently arrested, police said.
Salisbury Police charged Kenneth Leroy Jones Jr., 24, of the 200 block of North Oakland Avenue, with felony breaking and entering and felony motor vehicle theft.
Police said Jones is accused of breaking into an outbuilding at a home in the 1000 block of Bringle Ferry Road along with one other person. The homeowner told police at the time two dirt bikes were stolen. One dirt bike was recovered that evening.
It’s not clear if the other dirt bike was ever recovered. Jones remains in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.
