Shuping Eagle Award

Jonathon Shuping, of Salisbury, is receiving his Eagle Scout Award today, Oct. 2, 2016, at First United Church of Christ in Salisbury presented by Scoutmaster Randy Shue of Troop 591.
Jonathon is a 2014 graduate of Jesse Carson High School in China Grove. His Eagle Scout Project is on the grounds of Jesse Carson High School, a 20ft high brick and block Band Director Tower. A member of the Order of the Arrow, Jonathon is a Tarheel Boys State volunteer counselor at Catawba College and is a member of First United Church of Christ in Salisbury. Jonathon has earned 35 merit badges.
A full-time student at Rowan Cabarrus Community College and a part-time employee at Chick-fil-A, Jonathon is the son of Mark and Patty Shuping of Salisbury. His brothers are Christian A. Shuping, an Eagle Scout, and Steven L. Shuping, a Life Scout. He is the grandson of Pat Shoe and the late Howard L. Shoe of Salisbury and Romas and Sarah Shuping of Salisbury.
