Stevens Graduation

Garrison Nicole Stevens, daughter of Jay and Kimberly Stevens of Salisbury, received her Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Clemson University on Aug. 4, 2016, having successfully defended her dissertation on “Experiment-based Validation and Uncertainty Quantification of Partitioned Models Improving Predictive Capability of Multi-scale Plasticity Models.”
Garrison was named the Outstanding Woman Graduate Student in 2014. She is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Having completed her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Clemson, she was awarded the prestigious GAANN Scholarship for her continued Ph.D. research.
Garrison has accepted a postdoctoral position at Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, N.M.
