Rowan weather: Not so hot

The front that brought us today’s cooler weather may trigger a few showers between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. The chance of rain is 20 percent.
It will be partly sunny and 82, with east winds at 5-7 mph.
Tonight also has a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with patchy fog forming after 11 p.m. The night will be mostly cloudy with a low of 66 and east southeast wind at 3-5 mph.
Tuesday also has a 20 percent chance of showers and storms, but most storms will be south and east of I-85. It will be partly sunny and 84. Calm wind will become southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday night will be partly cloudy and 66, with south wind at 5 mph.
Mostly sunny for Wednesday, with a high of 88. Calm wind will blow from the south at 6 mph in the afternoon. The low will be 67 under partly cloudy skies.
Then it’s back to a 30 percent chance of showers Thursday afternoon, with an otherwise mostly sunny day and a high of 86. The same chance continues Thursday night, with a low of 64.
Friday will be partly sunny and 82, with another 30 percent chance of showers after noon. The same chance holds on Friday night, with a low of 63.
Saturday will be partly sunny and 84, with a low of 66.
Sunday brings that 30 percent chance of rain back, and will be mostly cloudy with a high of 84.
