I  received some flack about not having notified people about the Club Championship game we played at the Women’s Club.  We had not had an occasion to have one since our attendance had been so low.  On Aug. 30 we had 5 1/2 tables so I took advantage of that at the last minute.  I hear people don’t want to come to the Tuesday game because it’s so small.  Well if everyone came it wouldn’t be small and the points would be larger. Please come out and make the game bigger.

Here are some dates to remember for expected special games: Women’s Club Sept. 13 and 20 and Evergreen Sept. 16 and 30.  Hope to see you all there.  October games will be announced in October.

Patsy Reynolds and Toni Iossi had the best N/S score bidding and making 6CS making while Pat Featherston and Dick Brisbin had the best E/W score defeating opponent’s 4HS 2 tricks.  It’s all in the opening lead.
