SALISBURY — The Salisbury Community Foundation is  accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for its 2016 Grants Program. Grants will be awarded for projects and programs that address a community need and benefit residents of Salisbury/Rowan County. Priority will be given to projects and programs in the following areas:

•   Arts & Culture
•   Public Education: K-12
•   Education: Higher Ed
•   Environment
•   Human Services

The foundation awards grants up to $10,000. In 2015, award amounts ranged from $1,000 to $8,000. Actual award amounts will be determined based on merit of the project and available funds.

Applicants must be eligible nonprofit organizations, congregations, governmental and educational institutions located and serving Salisbury and Rowan County area residents.

For 2016, the Salisbury Community Foundation is administering the city of Salisbury discretionary grant program. If your nonprofit organization has received a grant from the city of Salisbury in the past and would like to apply for funding in 2016, complete the online application as outlined below.

To begin the application process, grant seekers are invited to visit the Online Grants Center at https://fftcgrants.communityforce.com and search for Salisbury Community Foundation to access the online application. Past applicants can log in to the Online Grants Center using their previously established account information. For all first time applicants, create a new account.
