EAST SPENCER — A local organization is holding its annual Help Fair at East Spencer’s Royal Giants Park. It will feature food and a school supply giveaway.

The event, which will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park, 200 Robinson Road, is organized by Grateful Heart Community Services. The event is free to the public.

Attendees can expect to not only receive school supplies but also free groceries. The organization has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. In order to receive the items, an ID must be shown and items will be given one per household, said Brenda Morgan.

There will be music and activities as well as hot dogs and drinks for attendees. There will be other local resources available.
