SALISBURY — Police investigators say a man charged in the shooting death of O’Charley’s waitress Lacynda Diane Feimster has been charged with assaulting her mother.

Salisbury Police charged Daniel Real Albarran, 31, of Leonard Road, on Thursday with the murder of Feimster, 38, whose friends called her “LC.” The mother of four was shot inside her Crown Point Apartment in May during a robbery and home invasion.

Sindy Lina Abbitt, 33, of Salisbury turned herself in June. She was charged with murder and assault.

Feimster’s mother, Mary Gregory, was struck in the face with a handgun.

Police officials have not released details of Albarran’s arrest.

Officers were called to the apartment complex, located off Gold Hill Road in the Morlan Park neighborhood, regarding a home invasion and robbery. When authorities arrived, they found Feimster already dead.

Police have said the crime was not random and that Feimster and Abbitt knew each other. Police have not said how Albarran is connected to either Abbitt or Feimster.
