It won’t be long until the Salisbury High School gym gets a security boost, thanks to a recent donation.
The Salisbury High School Gym Enhancement board of directors recently donated $3,000 to the school in order to install security cameras. Windsor Eagle, former principal at Salisbury High School and board chair 0f the gym enhancement board, said the board received a $1,500 grant from the Salisbury Community Foundation — which was matched by donations from alumni and community members.
Eagle said that the board asked how it could help out the school, and was told that security cameras were a big need. Eagle said he hopes the cameras will help cut down on disciplinary issues.

“That’s pretty big in the area around the gym,” he said.
The donation will fund 10 cameras, which will be placed in and around the gym at Salisbury High School.
