NC Manufacturing Institute to host Discovery Sessions for job-seekers and employees

SALISBURY — The NC Manufacturing Institute will be hosting two Discovery Sessions to help job-seekers and employees move up the ladder within the manufacturing industry.

One session on Tuesday will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and another will be on Aug. 17 from 3 to 5 p.m. Both sessions will be at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College’s north campus, 1333 Jake Alexander Blvd. S., in room 4133.

Attendees will learn about manufacturing job opportunities, opportunities for certified production technician training and scholarships to help pay for training and certifications.

The sessions are free to qualified job seekers. Attendees are asked to bring a copy of their identification card to the session.
