Local CPA firms announce merger

Gary D. Morgan CPA, P.A. is pleased to announce a forthcoming merger with Ronald E. Woodward, CPA, P.A. The merger is scheduled to take place officially Aug. 1. On Monday, the combined firms will begin conducting their practice as Gary D. Morgan, CPA, P.A.

Plans are to gradually transition their firms over the next several months, at which time Ron Woodward and staff will move to Morgan’s current place of business at 104 Granite Lane, Salisbury (location is on U.S. 52 just inside the Granite Quarry city limits).

Woodward and Morgan are both certified public accountants with years of experience providing accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, income tax and financial planning services to individuals and small businesses in a variety of industries. Morgan is also certified through the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) as a PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) and earned his Series 7 securities license in 2002.
