Barger 50th Anniversary

L.P. Barger Jr. and Mary Ann Barger of Salisbury, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 19, 2016. Their children will host a dinner party for their family and friends this summer in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple plans to vacation with family to celebrate this week.
The Bargers were united in marriage on June 19, 1966, Father’s Day, at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Salisbury by the Rev. Paul Moose. L.P. has been self employed as a grading contractor since 1978, and Mary Ann has been a medical receptionist for Dr. Frank Shafer since 1975.
The couple has two children, Braxton R. Barger and wife Penny and Brandi B. Armstrong and husband Cody, all of Salisbury. They also have four grandchildren, Braxton and Penny’s children, Claudia and Mason, and Brandi and Cody’s children, Banks and a baby due in October.
