East Fisher Street will be closed to vehicle traffic on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 for the filming of the movie Purpose. The street should reopen by the afternoon on both days. Pedestrians will still be able to access businesses along East Fisher Street by foot.

Work on North Long Street at Council Street will start on Monday, May 23 and continue through the end of the month. A contractor will be installing stamped crosswalks, starting in the early hours of Monday. The work will start on North Long Street at Council Street and continue towards Kerr Street.

There will be a temporary closure of Klumac Road between Jake Alexander and Martin Luther King boulevards starting Monday, May 16 and continuing through Sunday, Oct. 2. Work will be done to replace the bridge over Town Creek with a new bridge. The project is separate from the rail grading and Klumac Bridge underpass project.
