Rowan weather: Chance of rain for a few days

Today, Thursday and Friday will be a mixed bag of some sun, clouds and chances of showers and thunderstorms every day and night.

Today’s chance is 40 percent, with showers and storms beginning as early as 9 a.m. It will be partly sunny with a high of 83 and southwest wind at 5-8 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch is expected, except for higher amounts in storms.

Tonight has a 30 percent chance of storms and showers, with a low of 63.

Thursday also has a 30 percent chance of showers and storms, with partly sunny skies and a high of 84. Again, don’t expect much accumulation. The chance of rain goes up to 50 percent Thursday night, with a low of 64 and south southwest winds at 3-6 mph. A tenth to a quarter inch of rain is possible.

Friday has a 60 percent chance of showers and storms, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 79. West wind will blow at 3-7 mph. The chance of rain Friday night is 30 percent, with a low of 57.

Good news — Saturday should be sunny with a high of 79. The low will be 53.

And Sunday should be mostly sunny and 74, with a low of 56.

Monday brings another 30 percent chance of showers and storms, with partly sunny skies and a high of 79. Also a 30 percent chance of showers Monday night with a low of 60.

Tuesday will have a 40 percent chance of showers and storms, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 77.
