Kannapolis police investigating homicide
KANNAPOLIS – Police are investigating a homicide.
Officers were called to 2000 Chris Ann Lane at approximately 9:45 this morning regarding a death investigation. Upon arrival officers located a deceased male within the residence.
Police are continuing to work an open and active homicide investigation, completing evidence collection and interviewing witnesses, and say because of that, information will be limited at this time.
Authorities say they are still locating the relatives of the victim and as soon as this is completed will release his identity.
Investigators ask anyone with information regarding about this crime to call the Kannapolis Police Department at 704-920-4000 or Crime Stoppers at 704-932-7463. A reward is available for anyone providing information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect or suspects in this case.
