The freeze watch is now a freeze warning, from 2-9 a.m. Wednesday, meaning whatever you planted outside is in danger, especially at higher elevations.

Before we get to that, though, we have a fire danger from 11 a.m. today on, due to low humidity and high winds. Do not burn outside today under these conditions.

Otherwise, it’s going to be sunny and 20 degrees cooler than yesterday, with a high of just 55. Wind from the north at 9-14 mph will make it seem cooler, with gusts as high as 23 mph.

The wind calms down tonight and leads to the chance of a freeze, as the low drops to 32 degrees.

Wednesday will be sunny, with a high of 59 and winds from the south at 6-11 mph. Showers are likely after 11 p.m. as clouds increase. The low will be 50 and the wind returns, from the south at 9-13 mph, with gusts up to 18 mph. The chance of rain is 70 percent.

Thursday has a 40 percent chance of showers, but it will be partly sunny and 64. Southwest wind will blow at 11-14 mph, gusting up to 22 mph. A 20 percent chance of showers is possible Thursday night, with a low of 43.

Mostly sunny Friday, with a high of 58 and a low of 31, so there may be another freeze warning.

Sunday will be sunny and 59 with a low of 41, and Monday should be mostly sunny and 70.
