By Kari Comadoll, Special to the Post

The 48th Annual Salisbury-Rowan Heart Fund Ball was held Feb. 13 at the Country Club of Salisbury. This year’s ball was chaired by Beverly and Thom Dillard. Approximately 240 guests enjoyed dancing to the band Adrian Duke Project at the black-tie event.

More than $18,000 was raised this year and the proceeds were divided between the Rowan-Salisbury public high schools for the purchase of defibrillators and the Community Care Clinic of Rowan County for heart related issues.
