A Salisbury man on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office most wanted list was arrested following several tips from the public, officials said.

Marvin Eric Tart, 42, of the 1700 block of Old Concord Road, was charged Friday with felony sex offender failure to notify of address change and misdemeanor failure to appear/comply.

He did not notify officials within the required three business days after an address change. The failure to comply is for $189 for child support.

Authorities say Tart was arrested at a restaurant in Salisbury. His total bond is $9,703, jail records show. He also faces a charge of sex offense — use of social website.

Tart was convicted in 2010 of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and on two other occasions of being a sex offender who failed to notify of an address change.
