From staff reports
The NCHSAA released its third realignment draft for the 2017-18 school year on Thursday.
A change from earlier drafts was adding Thomasville to the 2A conference that will include South Rowan, Salisbury, Central Davidson, East Davidson, Lexington, Ledford, North Davidson, West Davidson, and new school, Oak Grove.
That makes it a 10-team league, which means nine conference football games, with only two non-conference openings. That leaves South and Salisbury room for only two non-conference games.
