A Flurry of Bridge Activities
Many special games have and will occur in the next two weeks. The Rowan-Salisbury Senior Games, Silver Arts Duplicate Bridge contest was held Monday, Feb. 29.
We had great attendance including five new duplicate players in competition. Winning N/S Gold, John McLaughlin and Pat Macon; Silver, Wade Lowder and Georgia Sorensen; and Bronze, Tom Johnson and Nancy Brandt;
E/W Gold, Joy Hamilton and Rosemary Sokolowski; Silver, Chuck and Margaret Rimer; Bronze, Renita Richie and Anne Palmer. Thank you Trinity Oaks and Phyllis Kluttz for a fine afternoon.
Please note that there will be no Evergreen game on Friday, March 11. Our Dogwood tournament will begin at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center. There will be two sessions March 11, at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; on Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and Sunday Swiss teams at 10 a.m.
