We should finally see some sun today, but it will be cool and quite windy. The high will be 46 and north northwest wind will blow at 9-15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph, making it feel much colder.

Winds calm tonight and clear skies allow the temperture to drop to 26.

Saturday will be sunny again, with a high of 48 and light winds. The low will be 29.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and a bit warmer, with a high of 52. North wind will blow at 3-8 mph. The low will be 30.

Monday is when the weather gets a little hard to pin down. There will be a 50 percent chance of rain in the morning, then showers in the afternoon. The high will be 48. The National Weather Service says there’s a chance of rain and snow showers Monday night before 1 a.m., then a chance of snow from 1 to 3 a.m. The low will be 28, but the chance of precipitation is just 30 percent.

Rowan County Weather forecaster Steve Monday says there’s a 50 percent chance of isolated rain showers that may change to snow flurries in the evening. Monday also predicts a small (20 percent) chance of snow flurries Tuesday.

The National Weather Service says Tuesday will be partly sunny and 43, with a low of 25.

Wednesday should be mostly sunny with a high of 38 and a low of 22.

And Thursday should be sunny and 42.
