Clement Isaiah Wells and Phyllis Paulette Clayborn Wells celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016. They were married Jan. 23, 1966, in York, South Carolina.
Clement retired from the VA Medical Center after 28 years of service. Phyllis is currently the Director of Auxiliary Services at Hood Theological Seminary.
They have two children, Patrick Wells of Salisbury and ShaRhonda Wells of Winston-Salem. The couple celebrated with a dinner outing with family and also plan a trip this summer.
