A Charlotte man wanted for a November murder was arrested in Rowan County, authorities said.

Deandre Roshaun Howze was charged with shooting and killing 21-year-old Antravious White in Rock Hill, S.C., over the Thanksgiving weekend. Howze, 21, fled the Rock Hill area and was located at an East Spencer apartment in the 800 block of Cedar Street.

Rowan County Sheriff’s Office detectives and agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) went to the apartment Friday where they found Howze in a bedroom.

Howze is the third person Rock Hill Police have charged in connection with the shooting. Witnesses said in the South Carolina incident there was so much gunfire they thought someone was setting off fireworks, according to reports.  Howze remains in the Moss Justice Center in York County without bond.

He faces murder charges as well as weapons charges related to the incident, criminal conspiracy and financial transaction card fraud.
