The Rowan County Veterans Service Office will host an open community seminar covering the Veterans Administration and the different services the Veteran Service Office provides.

Some of the topics to be discussed are compensation claims for veterans, war era pensions, obtaining medical care through the VA hospital and death and burial benefits.

The event will be Jan. 28, 6-8 p.m. at 2727 Old Concord Road, at the Rowan County building which houses the Cooperative Extension Office.
