Warm and windy is the way we’re starting the week. It’s 58 degrees this morning and the wind is blowing from the northeast.

Rain is likely to start in the early morning hours of Tuesday (80 percent chance). Tonight, with more northeast wind, the low will be 49.

Tuesday’s 90 percent chance of rain will come with sustained northeast winds at 11 mph, with gusts possible. The high will be just 52, not far from the previous night’s low. We may get between a half and three-quarters of an inch of rain.

The low will be only about 1 degree less than the high, with winds shifting to the East northeast at 9-11 mph and gusts as high as 18 mph for Tuesday night. The chance of rain will be 100 percent, with another half to three-quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday brings the  possibility of a thunderstorm with its 90 percent chance of rain. The high will be 69, with wind shifting to the south at 8-11 mph.  Wednesday night, the chance of rain drops to 40 percent, mainly before 1 a.m. It will be cloudy, with a low of 56.
