Rowan weather: Another beautiful day ahead; weekend chilly

It’s going to be a beautiful Friday, with morning clouds clearing out and the sun shining. The high will be 72, with a light breeze from the north northwest.

Tonight will be clear and chilly, with a low of 42 and more north northwest wind at 6 mph.

Saturday will be sunny and just 63 degrees for a high. That north northwest wind will stay with us at least during the morning. Saturday night will be clear and cold, with a low of 35. Wind from the north will blow at 3-5 mph.

For Sunday, expect more sun, but cooler temperatures, with a high of just 57. Saturday night will be cold, with a low of 32. Widespread frost is expected after 2 a.m.

Monday will start off cold, but eventually get back to another high of 57. The low again, will be 34, with more frost expected.

For Tuesday, another frosty start with a high near 64 under sunny skies. The low will be around 41, so there’s little chance of frost.

Wednesday will be much warmer,with a high of 69 under mostly cloudy skies. The low that night will be around 48 degrees.

Thursday will be warmer yet, at 71 degrees, with mostly sunny skies.
