Blotter: Man arrested on drug and concealed gun charges

A Lexington man was arrested on charges of possession of stolen goods, carrying a concealed handgun and possession of a controlled substance on Sunday.

While in route to another location, officers called for assistance with an intoxicated male and female in a car at the 700 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. The officer said there was a marijuana scent coming from the car.

The male in the car, Elijah Miguel Walker, 18, had three grams of marijuana on him and also had a stolen 9-millimeter handgun concealed in the waistband of his pants, according to a police report.

  • A woman found a wallet on the side of the road on Thursday at the 200 block of Kentwood Avenue.
  • A woman reported assault with a knife on Friday at the 400 block of Brenner Avenue.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen on Friday at the 100 block of West Fisher Street.
  • Police responded to a report of vandalism on Friday at the 800 block of Green Street.
  • Romos Pizzeria at the 100 block of East Innes Street reported an innkeeper was defrauded on Friday.
  • A woman reported vandalism on Saturday at the 100 block of Chestnut Street.
  • A man reported a four-wheeler and pressure washer were stolen from his garage on Saturday at the 700 block of Wesley Drive.
  • After a vehicle crash at the 300 block of South Arlington Street, police found that the tag on the vehicle was reported stolen from Maryland.
  • A man reported he was the victim of a hit and run on Saturday at the intersection of West Horah and Craige Street.
  • A woman reported a burglary on Saturday at the 1000 block of Old Mocksville Road.
  • Police found marijuana on Sunday at the 1000 block of West Innes Street.
  • A man reported larceny on Sunday at the 400 block of North Main Street. Police say he fell asleep in public because of drunkenness and had items stolen from his backpack.
  • A woman reported items stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Sunday at the 600 block of North Fulton Street.
  • Police recovered a stolen gun on Sunday at the 700 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
  • A woman reported a stolen license plate on Sunday at the 300 block of South Arlington Street.
  • IHOP at the 200 block of Bendix Drive reported larceny on Sunday.
  • A larceny and assault were reported from Salisbury High School on Sunday at the intersection of South Church Street and West Thomas Street.
  • A man resisted arrest and ran from an officer on Monday at the 700 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue.
  • Todd Bruce Bentley, 48, was charged with defrauding an innkeeper or campground owner on Friday at the 100 block of East Innes Street.
  • Jordan Dejuan Oglesby, 18, was charged with possession of a controlled substance on Sunday at the 1000 block of West Innes Street.
  • Sean Christopher Boyce, 40, was charged with breaking and entering on Monday at the 600 block of Mocksville Avenue.

  • Citations were issued for simple possession and drug paraphernalia on Thursday at the intersection of Airport Road and Cedar Springs Road.
  • A man reported an attempted breaking and entering on Thursday at the 200 block of Rock Spring Drive.
  • A person was found in possession of a controlled substance on Thursday at the 100 block of West Liberty Street.
  • A man reported a breaking and entering of a vehicle at the 400 block of Adrian Road on Thursday.
  • A woman’s watch was reported stolen on Thursday at the 300 block of Wellington Estates Drive, China Grove.
  • A stolen debit card was used on Thursday at the Premier Federal Credit Union on the 400 block of Sylvan Road, China Grove.
  • A man was the victim of larceny on Thursday at the 300 block of Happy Lake Road, Rockwell.
  • A man was a victim of larceny on Thursday at the 100 block of Forest Street, Rockwell.
  • A woman reported a disturbance between neighbors on Thursday at the 1000 block of John Miller Road, Rockwell.
  • A person was found in possession of heroin and suboxone on Thursday at the 400 block of Lake Drive, Granite Quarry.
  • A woman reported breaking and entering property damage on Thursday at the 200 block of Long Bow Road.
  • Jordan Thomas Scarborough, 17, was charged with possession of a controlled substance on Thursday at the 1000 block of Airport Road.
  • Conner Mark Lewis, 17, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Thursday at the 1000 block of Airport Road.
  • Matthew Wesley Miller was charged with breaking and entering a building on Thursday at the 5000 block of Woodleaf Road.
  • Unique Celese Barnes, 16, was charged with larceny on Thursday at the 100 block of Plum Tree Drive.
  • Victoria Nicole Fink, 20, was charged with possession of a controlled substance on Thursday at the 400 block of Lake Drive.
  • Derrick Scott Hammill, 48, was charged with breaking and entering a building on Thursday at the 200 block of North Main Street.
