SALISBURY — The Community Appearance Commission’s fifth BlockWork will be held Oct. 24 in the 800 and 900 blocks of South Jackson Street in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood.

The volunteer-driven makeover day for the selected area will last from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., and South Jackson Street in those two blocks will be closed during that period. Parking for volunteers will be available in the rear parking lot at Haven Lutheran Church.
