Zombie Walk rescheduled; Scavenger Hunt on go
The zombie walk slated for this Saturday evening has been postponed, Downtown Salisbury Inc. officials announced Thursday.
The high winds and heavy rain associated with Hurricane Joaquin prompted concerns about safety. The event has been rescheduled for Nov. 7.
Also rescheduled is the Friday night Downtown Grand Piano Finale, a final event for the pianos that have been placed around the downtown for people to play. That event will be held next Friday, Oct. 9.
Not postponed is the ReadyRowan Night on the Town and Scavenger Hunt set for 5-9 p.m. Friday in downtown Salisbury. Participants can pick up their “go bags” in the lobby of the Visitors Center, 204 E. Innes St.
