Neighborhood Leaders Alliance meets Sept. 29

The fall meeting of the Neighborhood Leaders Alliance will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. at One Water Street.
The agenda will include:
• Introduction of Troy Powell, the city’s new code services manager, and other recent changes at the Code Services office.
• Discussion with Paula Bohland, executive director of Downtown Salisbury Inc, about connectivity between neighborhoods and the downtown.
• Update on “repeat offenders” ordinance to address multiple criminal activity calls at same property.
• Reminder for BlockWork which will be in the 800-900 blocks of South Jackson Street on National Make a Difference Day, which is Saturday, Oct. 24.
In addition, organizers ask those attending to bring up any concerns they would like to discuss which might be of interest to other neighborhoods.
