Luncheon hosted for Vietnam veterans

In recognition of the national commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War, The Elizabeth Maxwell Steele chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Central Carolina Chapter of the MOAA (Military Officer Association of America) sponsored a tribute luncheon Wednesday at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center for veterans of the Vietnam War. Bill Kenerly, who served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corp in 1968, was the keynote speaker for the ceremony.
