China Grove Roller mill schedules open house on Sunday

The Efird Family Singers will be featured at the China Grove Roller Mill’s next open house on Sunday.
The open house will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the roller mill, which is located at 308 North Main St. in China Grove. The roller mill regularly features a speaker or performer during the regularly scheduled open house events.
The Efird Family Singers performs contemporary and traditional gospel music. Singers in the family group include Elbert Efird, Mary Lambert, Lois Page, Janet Parsons, Connie Corriher, Roy Efird, Linda Childress, Evan Walden, five sisters, two brothers and one grandson. They are accompanied by Michael Kotish.
Group members are also life-long members of Mount Moriah Lutheran Church and have been singing together in the community for the the last five years.
During the concert, the museum will be open for self guided tours. The basement, showing the the inner workings of the Roller Mill, will also be available for viewing. This event is free and open to the public.
